A developer's thoughts, stories and ideas

Real time chat is finally working! The way it works is by receiving a command (real time chat only uses 1 command, but can be expanded) and blasting the message to everyone connected. I will extend this to include a feature to show current users online. The issues from before was the storing of users and messages. There really was no need to store those things, so I removed it.

Anyways, other changes include an actual background. It's a pretty nifty poly pattern background with a gentle color scheme and glass card designs. I've also added a loading icon for the blog cards and finally added a logo/icon. Now that I'm finished the real time chat, I'm planning to make more projects and expand current ones (tic-tac-toe multiplayer coming soon). The site is still pretty bare, but at least it looks decent and has nice animations.

I've also switched over my blog system to an actual cms called wagtail. The oldest 5 posts are from the first blog system, all the rest will be from this new one.
